Evening Gloom

What a surreal evening. I love gloomy weather, even at night when the sky turns that dirty yellow and the city seems wrapped in a blanket of dim haze. A few days ago I was taking a smoke break in my back yard and the jazz station (yeah I actually have one of those bitchin’ tombstone radios too, shut up i think it’s awesome…) was playing this crazy live studio jam session with an artist (who’s name escapes me) that was using the wah-wah’s from an old jimi hendrix song as sampling to play his jazz to. extremely surreal.

So yeah, crazy jazz floating up through the smoke, a drink in hand and the gloomy night wrapped around me, I really just wanted to try and snag the moment.
